The Wish

We sometimes play with the dice on our island, a particular game, called Greedy, that for some reason, is almost always won by Mistress Diomita. I could write a separate blog entry about me and playing board games in sl, or maybe I should say about me and not playing board games in sl, as there are other "games" I do like more to spend my time on ;-)
Anyway, sometimes sidebets are put on our Greedy games, and last week Jenny spiced up a game with the sidebet to grant a wish to the winner. This game was against all odds, won by.... me! ^^

So, I got to make a wish. I could have wished a lot of things, like having Mistress on my leash for a week, or a pet of my own, or a new dress, or...

But what did I wish?

I wished to be be kept and trained as a pony girl for a month (or more?) in a very strict way. After the teasing discussions during the game, this might have been a little surprise, but I decided to wish all the fun for myself, as it was me who had won the game.

I even was a little more specific about the long list of restrictions I would like to have applied on me: blinkers and a gag of course, no touch by mittens or and armbinder (I prefer the mittens though) and a serious hearing restriction, like the "pet hearing" I got as a HuMare. No names, no location or maps, no inventory, no ... just being a pony without distractions from those things a pony shouldn't care about.

In fact, the extreme strictness of a HuMare could describe my wish the best, the "but" being the often problematic lag at SnR, and the endless boredom of the lap running HuMares are made to. On the other end, my legendary clumsiness - only partially caused by my computer - wouldn't allow me to do dressage training, but cart pulling would be okay, and trying that blindfolded, I am dreaming about for long time already.

The problem has always been to find a decent pony trainer, as training ponies is not The thing for Mistress Dio, and also she has so much more to take care off. But somehow Mistress and Jenny managed to find a trainer, and I just met her for the first time. I'm a bit worried she didn't take the time to talk about my expectations and so on, but I hope it will all work out well.

You always have to be careful what you wish for, after all.

Caught!

: Your arrest is now effective after 28:37:0. Keep this time preciously so the agent can register their success !

I've been arrested!
Even in the small dark alleys of chinatown, I wasn't safe for the SLBI at last. As was just looking for some dumplings to eat, I saw SLBI officer Ollalla Sugarbeet (aka Sugar) come around the corner suddenly. I turned around and started to run, but being about head taller than me, she also has much longer legs. And I couldn't get rid of her. I ran and ran around corner after corner, not really knowing where I was anymore.. until I ended in a dead end. End of the run.
As I didn't really make a chance against a much bigger woman with a gun, me carrying only a little knife I even didn't think of at the moment, I surrendered without violence. I didn't want to get killed or hurt, you know..

So far my little fugitive / teasing the SLBI story. Maybe there will be some prison stories coming up now. Or not.

Teasing the SLBI... again

Need I comment this picture?

这是开始给我生了

I bet people are starting to think I am following a photography course...
C'mon, it can't be that hard, in RL China there is police everywhere.

To take these pictures, I stayed in the same sim for more than an hour. I wonder, is there anyone else trying to do SL photography on a Mac? I still need to find the first viewer that works satisfying on my Mac. Textures are downloading too slow, or remaining blurry, framerate drops dramatically when graphics quality is increased to get any decent quality...
Well.. enjoy my pics anyway.

Hmmm.. a question that rose into my head recently: wouldn't it be cool to have Chinese cultural revolution era prison in SL? The kind where blatant songs and propaganda is heard through speakers the whole day?

我不知道警察在做什么但他们仍然没有逮捕我

Dear SLBI, please enjoy my latest holiday pictures.
You still haven't got me, nah nah nah!

Ohhh, I got some inside information you are getting a little... catchy by me teasing you. It can't be that hard to catch me, I'm not really hiding, am I? Or are you waiting until I am so bored I just come walking in to your office?

Yours truly

Waiting for the SLBI...

Like to any decent fugitive, nice holiday resorts have my preference..

I miss my Mistress and family, even the neighbors on our home island. Today I just felt like installing myself with a drink in a nice spot and waiting for the SLBI to come. But they didn't come... yet.

Lucky chair

As an intermezzo, I will write about something completely different now, and bore you with a little... script!

Some of you know I'm not too bad at scripting, and that in order to realize my often wicked idea's - feared by Mistress Diomita's girls who sometimes are used as test subjects - I'm grateful there's the RLV api to extend the not so intruding SL scripting language.

RLV is basically intended and designed to make BDSM related scripts and toys more real. If you want to know more about it, you should go to Marine Kelley's blog. But I'm quite sure most of my readers know RLV well enough. ;-)
But... this RLV can also be put to use for other purposes, and my intention for this post is to give you a little example. Most of you know that other phenomenon in SL: the "lucky chairs" Those are chairs or panels or ... whatever, placed in shops and giving an item away to the avatar whose name starts with a random letter. This letter changes every so many minutes, and in order to "win" the prize if the first letter of your name is shown, you need to sit on the chair.
You can win some nice stuff like this. All you have to do, is wait patiently until your initial shows up - and hope no one with the same initial is quicker than you!
The most interesting lucky chairs in SL often have a bunch of people waiting at them, which is of course the main purpose a vendor places them: to have people in their shop, good for SL statistics and so on. But waiting for your initial can take some time and is of course, rather boring and frustrating. I tried waiting near the chair and in meantime do something useful in RL, which of course drew my attention completely to RL causing me to miss the "D" show up... Even more frustrating.
So my mind came up with this little script, that will use the RLV feature to force sit you on the chair when it is your turn. All you have to do is put it in any attachment you wear and post your avatar near the lucky chair of your choice. You'll have to put your own initial in it, of course, and depending on the text the lucky chair says when a new letter is selected, you might have to change the if-test a little.

Oofff... I excelled again in blah-blah, here's the script:

default
{
    state_entry()
    {
        llListen(0, "", NULL_KEY, "");
    }

    listen( integer channel, string name, key id, string message)
    {
        if( llSubStringIndex(message, " D?") != -1 ||
            llSubStringIndex(message, " WILDCARD!") != -1)
        {
            llOwnerSay("@sit:"+(string)id+"=force");
        }
    }
}

Oh... some wicked ideas are applicable if you want your sub to wait for a SLiCK! Isolation Hood for instance: you can post them in the shop rather restricted, as they don't need to see or hear anything, the script does everything automatically...

It's the SLiCK! lucky chair that gave me the idea for the script BTW, and before the SLBI goes looking for me at Rubber Room: it's already some time ago, I just never actually got to writing this post until now.. ^^

Teasing the SLBI

I did it! But I was rather stressy, I admit...

Also, I'm not a great SL photographer like Sarah or Amalia...

And what's that strange thing in the air in the background?? The Space Odyssey 2001 Monolith?

^^

The fugitive (part 1 ?)

The SLBI is looking for me! They found out I haven't always been following the law exactly in the past and now they have a search warrant and some agents trying to arrest me.

Okay, this post is gonna be hard to keep IC and OOC separated. So.. the first sentence was IC ^^

On Second Thoughts, it means I engaged in another prison related roleplay, starting from the very beginning of being a fugitive and giving some SLBI agents the fun of chasing and hunting me. Technically, I'm wearing a special tracking device that sends some information about my whereabouts to the SLBI server, where the SLBI agents can get some information about where they might possibly find me. How exactly this information is filtered and processed exactly , is a bit of a secret. It must be well thought thru and worked out though, as it has to be fun for both the hunters and the fugitives.

If I would just live my normal SL with my beloved Mistress and sisters, I would have been arrested already, because if I stay to long with the same people, the SLBI get a hint about that. If I stay to long in one place, they might get the name of that place too. Of course they keep an eye on Mistress Dio and our family's home sim now!

This being said, so far I found it rather easy to not let the SLBI get any valuable information about me. If I really wanted it, I think I could be on the run forever. But, even right before I started it, I still thought I wouldn't enjoy the fugitive part of the RP and wanted to let them catch me soon, as the goal of my RP was spending some time in a well designed and ran SL prison.
To some extend it is fun though, and I want to grant the SLBI agents the joy of hunting me, so I won't make it too easy for them. On the other hand, remaining uncatchable is starting to get me bored, as it basically means playing the lonely SL tourist. It's a nice time to visit places in SL, but alone is only Allein allein...

That's why I started to tease them a little, by paying short visits to the Maurer Family - of course that's also to keep in touch with them and hug - and... by staying a bit longer at places or near people so the server can be supposed to provide some information the the agents.

That's why I hung out in the SLBI's neighborhood yesterday. ^^
Pushed a little by my new sis, but long time acquaintance Arka, I was on my way to take another pic right in front of the SLBI office, but then I saw someone TP in there, making me freak out and TP away.

I don't know if any SLBI agents get to this blog, but I might as well post some more pics here to tease them for the time being I will be on the run. Eventually they might use it as an extra source of information about me and my ways..

4004

I'm done! Done done done done!
Finally I reached 4000 laps. 4004 to be precise. After 50 days: from February 20 to April 10. I haven't taken count of the days or hours I have been online; you all have read I have been very busy RL, and even sick, and RL always comes first.

The ironic thing is, yesterday on my last night of running - when I started I was even convinced it wouldn't be my last one yet - I learned the trick those streber mares use to keep running so long: put a weight or something on the up arrow key! So they only have to take care of the turns, and the whips to stop or change direction, hehehe. Of course I tried it too, and indeed it saves a lot of concentration, energy, and last but not least finger and wrist stress. I even had the impression it made me run faster, but that probably makes no sense? Like this you can even run while asleep - or almost. It's like driving a car on cruise control.

It made me decide to continue, and finish those damn laps once and for all. Having my sis Jenny there to support and encourage me, helped for sure, and made the other mares jealous, hehe. Thank you Jenny! xxx

This has been an intense experience for sure. Being able to see around again, and hearing and talking, was kinda overwhelming. I have to get used to inventory again, and clothes and stuff. I believe I was sitting with my family for half an hour or so, before I realised I was bare naked! And of course no one had mentioned or told me...

I have no idea what to do now. I feel I need some rest now. Relaxing, shopping, scripting maybe...

Whin.... kisses!

WTF?!!?

Okay, so thursday I finally got to make 200 laps or so, always good for my motivation. And, I got a visit from my sisters Jenny and Angel, that made me so happy!

So today I was quite motivated to do something similar, I made a time slot in my RL schedule and I logged on on a rather unusual time, hoping for a trainer to let me out and not too many other mares to avoid lag. Which worked out quite well... and I could run 100 laps or so.

But then the trainer took me and the other running mares back to the stable. WTF?? Why? Since she had IM'ed me (they can if they want) and I had that window still open, I tried to ask. She just told me she had to log off and she couldn't let us mares out with no trainer around?!
After being a mare for almost 2 months - which is getting way too long if you ask me - this is the first I hear about this! Have the rules been changed without we mares being noticed? Or do those trainers make their own rules?

Anyway, after all getting a little better the last time, this new thing is pissing me off. I hope Mistress Dio returns soon, and will take care of me again. Making sure I can work on these laps when it suits my RL agenda. It's hard enough as it is, it's really starting to approach my limit like this. And then I'm not thinking about the restrictions. Probably even not about those stupid laps, although I doubt I will ever commit to such a stupid rule again. I'm talking about the - intended or not - apathy and even sadism of some.
I dunno what I will do later tonight, log in again or not. I wanted to spend some time on other stuff, and still have 200 laps or so done today. Some narrow sighted trainer came in between. Form my point of view, she is intruding my RL like this, and that's across the limit. At the rate of the past week, it will take me another 2 weeks to finish.

It's only Mistress and our family, those very good friends, that keep me in SL. When Pike was still there, I always thought my SL would stop whenever she might go. Well, apparently it hasn't stopped, and I can't think of no other reason for this than the Eurobratz...

Snorts

More than 1300 laps! That's what one mare did in the last 24 hours! Followed by some more who do more laps in one day as I can make in a week...

To say there is no chance for me to see on the board how I am progressing. I'm losing the fun in it. Seeing those numbers is almost disgusting me. I'm very sorry but I can't help it.

I logged off after 10 minutes or so. Once again not enough laps done. Seeing more mares running than I can count (mares are no good at counting anyway) was causing too much lag anyway.

Another good night's sleep will do me better than annoy myself.

Motivational and other issues

I feel like I'm not making progress anymore. First of all I've been feeling RL sick for days, not being able to log in to sl. In fact I was barely able to live my RL! Shit happens, and usually I feel much better after a good night's sleep. Not his time! Even after something like twelve hours of sleep one night I was still feeling miserable. I know, sl is still keeping me from getting all the sleep I should get to live a healthy life, but what do you want? It's not easy to leave behind good friends...

And in this case, I want to finish those damn laps one day, rather sooner than later. I still haven't reached 3000, leave alone the 4000 I have to get. Not logging in won't help me finish, and for the last days - after I got better again - even logging in hasn't helped me a lot either!

First there was that day where my RL kept me busy way too long again, and while there were 3 or 4 mares in the stall, no trainer was around or seemed to bother to take us out. At least not until it was time for me to go to bed again... well we had a nice little mare chat at least!

Yesterday I don't know what those trainers were up to. As it happens more, they gave two whip cracks at some point, which is the sign for us mares not understanding human language to stop running. But this time it took them forever to give the sign to restart running. Well we have been standing still impatiently for at least 15 minutes while nothing - nothing - was happening! Dear trainers, please don't waste my rl and sl time like this! Those silly laps with a laggy viewer in a laggy sim are bad enough as they are, so let me run them so I can take on my sl.
Such a situation bring on the donkey in me, so after a lot of whinnies, snorts, stomps and sighs, I just started running again. Of course that wasn't what those trainers wanted, or maybe they were just testing our patience. A test I failed, thus. So they caught my rains and brought on the donkey even more. I don't know what they wanted from me, and I guess I even didn't want to know. Oh, at some point I think they wanted me to run on the small circle track in the middle. Which I technically can't, because of this damn lag. Did I tell you already I get 2 frames per second at most there? I assure you, it's making those laps even harder as I can't steer very well with feedback that slow. So running on this circle? Forget it, impossible!

I don't know where or when this started, but lag is really killing my sl experience. But I don't want to go there anymore, I did already in one of my previous post. For those thinking I should buy me a windows computer: all donations are welcome. Maybe I should start by installing windows on my Mac? Apart from my belief that's a blasphemy, I would still need to buy a license, wouldn't I?

So after being stubborn a lot, and running from here to there, the trainers brought all us mares to the stall. There was still more than one hour to go before my bedtime, but I had enough of not being able to run laps, so I logged. My goal of reaching 200 laps that day - and 3000 in total - again not reached.

Today there also wasn't a lot of running, as there's a pony dressage show in the sim, and the trainers took us to watch it. I am sure it's a well meant diversion, but again I haven't met my goal. Even before the event started, I had to wait like ten minutes or more before left out of the stall, even though there was a trainer standing next to it and watching me. Was she still punishing me for the day before? Or just teasing me? I know she has been a mare too, is that it? (to be precise one of those mares with way too much time on their hands)
Well maybe I reached those 3000 after all, or not.

And for all of your interest: another busy week is coming up. So Mistress Dio's hope I would be done before Easter, won't fulfil. Sorry Mistress, I wish with you I would make it, but things have not been favouring it...

I hope the next times it fits in my RL agenda to log on, I will be able to make progress. If not I'll start watching one of those DVD series, and that will be death to my already blurring motivation.

snort!

More whinnies

You know what? I seem to have started longing for the end...

More than one month already I am locked in this tight rubber pony suit, and at this moment I have no clue ow far I am from the end. It's not the suit or its restrictions anyway that bother me, it's - I know I am repeating myself - the laps. It all goes fine as long as I get some RL time and lag is not too bad, but you know... this isn't always the case.
And for the lag, no one apparently ever succeeded in creating an SL viewer that gets a decent frame rate on Mac OS X. Believe me, I try every viewer I can get my hands on, as long as it has RLV support of course. I'm putting my hope on Exodus now, I've seen a beta, but there were still some annoying bugs in it.
It's also scripting that causes lag, and this is a touchy point, as it's the scripts that enrich our SL experience. Without scripted objects, SL would have died long time ago. But on the other hand, I have shoes that are scripted, and there are means to measure the lag something causes, and they cause a lot of lag and to do what? To allow me to change the color or the size, or to make a clicking sound when I walk. And those are my most expensive SL shoes, and I like their look a lot. But the scripts in them are ridiculous, and so is the fact that they are "no mod" so I can't take them out. Ad there is plenty of stuff like this, plenty of useless scripts and lag worsening our SL experience.

But okay, I didn't want to blog about scripts and lag, I wanted to write about my being a huMare, and why I realized I'm looking forward to the end of all those laps...
I think I already told about the boards with the highest laps of the last 24 hour and the last week? Seeing my name on them gives me an indication how much laps I did, and helps me to estimate how long I still have to do. It also gives a motivational boost to see I'm doing well in the herd. I don't need to be the best or the first, it just helps me to know I'm "getting along".
But then there are those mares with too much time on their RL hands, who have time to run as many laps in one day as I can run in one week. I keep telling myself that I have a RL at least - and a pretty busy one - and as long as there is still place on those "score boards" for me I'm cool. But there's only 4 places on this board, and there seem to get more and more mares. There's often running five simultaneously nowadays!

So... when running, I nowadays find myself purely concentrated on the running, not my usual social self. The trainers I know might get a nuzzle less, I won't talk to other mares while running as I can't type while pressing the arrow up key, even if they say something like "get out of my way, I'm older than you!" what I seriously doubt, BTW.

Get me well, I'm not jealous or mad at those streber mares - as I'm the one with a RL - but a score board with more than 4 names could make me feel better in this growing livestock number. And yes, it might as well be my busy RL that's been working on my mood lately..

But well... I better get running now, instead of weaning.

Whinnies

Yay, just got another ride outside!
The drawback of course is I far from reached my preset goal of laps today...

It was Madame Elizabeth who decided me and another humare out on a cart ride. Only, we were not the ones pulling the cart, we just had to run behind it. But Madame Elizabeth's ponies are nice, their names are Anna and Storm, and they look like twins.
Did I mention before pulling a cart is fun? I have done it very little times, but I liked it. And the way it was done here, seems even more exciting to me: both the pulling ponies were blindfolded!
Ohhhhh, I'd love to try that myself! Imagine not seeing where you are going, and having trust the driver fully and pay attention to the whip commands very well. Marine Kelley sells a device for that, maybe I should check it out one day... if someone wants to be the driver?

Exciting, huh? And not, since I was only a spectator... wanting to get back to the court to run my own laps. I heard I am almost halfway. For how long am I a huMare already? Maybe it's better not to pay too much attention to it, and be surprised when it's over? But on the other hand it's good to get an update every now and then...

Did you notice I mentioned names? I wrote before you sometimes catch (part of) names. I think this is due to RLV only filtering out full names, thus letting first names pass through. But that's not how I learned the ponies' names! HuMares, and some ponies, like Anna and Storm, can talk to each other. And no one else can hear it ^^
Of course, it's not that easy to have your RL avatar type and have you run at the same time, so no: mare are not chitchatting among each other while running. I'm not even sure all mares know they can talk to other mares. But when not running, like when waiting in the stall for someone to take us out, or when dragged behind a cart pulled by other ponies, we can talk a little.

That's how Anna and Storm told me pulling a cart blindfolded really is exciting, but requires full attention. I think it requires some skills and full attention of the driver too. But of course I could not ask her, as to humans we mares can only whinny, snort, sigh,... and nuzzle them (if we know their name)

Ohhhh please Mistress, can I try that some day?

Whinnies ;-)

Counting...

I'm a humare for 2 weeks now... no, almost 3... and I ran... I have no idea whatsoever how many laps.

Does it matter? Seems I lost count. Just like I thought I would. I'll see when I get out.
The only indication I have about how I am doing is trying to peek at the 24 hours and week charts. And that still requires some math to get out any useful information. If I even get on those charts, that is.

In the beginning that seemed easy, I was like the only mare actually doing some laps, so to my own surprise I was first on both charts. But meanwhile some mares have entered with muuuuch more time on their RL hands apparently, doing laps and laps and laps.

It's not really motivating me. But do I envy them? I don't think so. I have a RL at least!

But this RL is preventing me from doing laps on the other hand. If - I say if - I would be able to log on every day in the week and run like I have been running the last 2 or 3 times I have been on, I would easily get to those 1000 laps a week. But I'm not.

So when I'm on and I am lucky enough to have someone let me out of the stable to run, I think I do pretty well. Even though falling asleep sometimes makes me run over middle of the court instead of following the fence, so the stable Mistress thought I was trying to cheat. I'm not. I'm fighting sleep, and lag, and sleeping and hurting hands and fingers. I'm not even fighting boredom, surprisingly.
Good subs don't get bored?! Or they can deal with it?!

It's weird anyway how any distraction in the silent, restricted world of a humare becomes entertaining. The mare hearing doesn't let me understand any chat, except for a very few words I "learned", like "mare" and "good", but I hear people are talking around me. And emotes... emotes are exciting, since we mares get most of them!
Mares also don't get names, but some parts of names slip through this RLV restriction, and you learn to recognise your folks on sight. That's important. Mares can "nuzzle", but for that you need to know at least a part of the name.
Of course while running around a mare hasn't got too much time to gaze around. The eye holes and blinkers take care of that. A mare wouldn't be a mare without them.
And of course the mouselook plays its role too in restricting perception. Like lots of people in sl, I used to not like to be forced to mouselook. And depending on how it's implemented, this might be still the case: it's the chat spam some implementations generate that I can't stand, as I need to leave mouselook to switch to another window on my computer (RL sometimes happens!) and when I return to sl then, I would like to be still able to follow conversation. So for me, a good mouselook enforcer just blocks sight when not in mouselook, without producing endless chat spam.
Same for cam restriction, which is, in my eyes, a soft form of mouselook. Or better: mouselook is the strongest form of cam restriction. I think - and I know I'm not alone - an avatar is not really imprisoned in a cage or cell, if they can still cam out of it.

But... I need to stop now.

Just this: seems next week my RL will even be more busy than last week.... sigh

Donkey

I believe some of these pony trainers/Mistresses are just evil!

In a previous post I mentioned already one taking me off the running court and locking me in the stable while it was far from my time or intention to log off. I'm still wondering whether or not that was to prevent me from jumping over her favourite mare in the weekly ranking... hard to tell of course if you have no clue about names or relationships.

But yesterday... someone was thinking I am a jumping horse, and filling the court with huuuuuuge prims so the only way to make laps was to jump over. As if it's not hard enough - for a clumsy one with an old laptop like me - to run those laps more or less efficiently when there is no impediment! Pure evil I tell you!
I seriously thought a griefer had come to torment us poor bound creatures.

So when it got impossible for me to continue running, like a stubborn donkey I stopped moving of course and started complaining. Which means whinnying, as a huMare has got little else means of communication. It worked!
So the prims disappeared, and I started running again. But then suddenly my eyeholes grew smaller, and the little I saw through them got paler! I was getting punished for not obeying?!
Although hard to see where, I continued to run. Where the blinkers were preventing my peripheral view, the peek holes ware far enough apart to prevent me to see in front of me. Even the normal sized holes do this, but it had got a lot worse. Okay I can handle that, and I'm not afraid of a challenge, but here I was doubting whether I could deal with this for so many more weeks...
I was so mad at that evil Mistress and anyone running in my way - I must have bumped on many since I couldn't see in front of me - I wished I had a kicking animation ready, like I have in my donkey avatar. I love donkeys btw. Donkeys are smart, and cute.
Maybe I good thing I haven't this kicking available, as it would for sure have gotten me in more punishment and trouble!

Thank you Mistress Dio to reopen my mare eyes at the end of the evening!
So... I guess I'd better been running instead of blogging here today? RL took me too long, and will occupy me the next days also. A day not logged shouldn't count for those 4 weeks... Well, it doesn't matter, but it puts the 7 or 8 weeks I estimated in another daylight, doesn't it?

Lag lag lag

Oh yeah, there's another enemy of a mare trying to reach her quota in laps: lag! The most frustrating of all!

Even more frustrating than a stable Mistress taking all happily running mares from the track and putting them in the stable. It wasn't my time to go to bed yet!

Okay, so I didn't complete as many laps as I had hoped for, today...

Laps laps laps

So here I am in this HuMare adventure... When I log in I peek through my eyeholes and start whinnying, hoping there is someone around who can let me out of my stall so I can start running laps.

These laps.... *sigh* as you might guess it is the subject of this post. For sure it is the hardest part in this challenge! Hard for body and soul, and maybe even for my hardware!
For starters, as I just said, someone has to let you out so you can start making laps.
Then there is the huge number of laps that you have to make. 1000 a week, let's assume you have a little RL too and log in to SL 5 days a week. That's 200 a day. I haven't tried to get exact measures, but this means almost 2 hours of constant running. Plus the time you might have to wait in the beginning. Plus the time you are taken out for other tasks, since the stable Mistresses can also take you for some dressage, or to pull a cart, or...

I was taken out to pull a cart yesterday. My first thought was like "oh no, how am I gonna make enough laps now?!" But then I enjoyed and was happy with it, as those laps are boring after all, and some diversification is very welcome. I hope more stable Mistresses take me out for other chores every now and then.

After all I calculated from the beginning 4 weeks won't be enough for me to make those 4000 laps. First of all because I have a RL that most of the time won't allow me to spend 2 or more hours in SL 5 days a week. Then there is the monotony of the laps, that already followed me in my sleep the second night I had been on it. And, those watching yesterday might have noticed me sometimes deviating from the track, that was because the RL me was simply falling asleep at the computer, the up arrow pressed, but the turning no longer under control. Really. And then I woke up in the middle of the court, quite disoriented by the limited vision. That happened multiple times!

My up key is going to be totally worn out after this adventure, and as I am already at risk for RSI, I will have to be careful not to push it too far. Should I try to tape the key so I don't have to push it myself? But then you hear 2 claps of the whip, meaning stop...

After all I had some time yesterday. It was the first day I reached the 200 laps BTW, bringing my total after 3 sessions to about 480, after 5 days.

So, am I complaining? Not really. I can deal with the restrictions very well, but, to be honest, that was to be expected. 1000 laps a week on the other hand, is a lot. And it's boring, causing RSI and sleep problems, consuming time that could be usefully spent on other things (but this is true for SL in general),...
In the end, I did some estimation it might take me about 8 weeks (instead of 4) to fulfil the imposed 4000 laps. Maybe it will be only 7. I don't care too much about the time it will take me. If I am on it, I do my best to make laps as efficiently as possible (regarding my legendary clumsiness, an aching wrist, difficulties to stay awake, etc.), but I won't let it stress me, and I'll be happy if I am taken out for a cart ride or something. I enjoy cart riding, even, or especially, on the pulling side.

Will I get addicted to the pony/mare thing? I dunno, but it is conditioning me. I am thinking - while making laps - about what I will do after this challenge, and surprisingly being Mistress Dio's mare for some time more is a candidate: having all the restrictions, but no more laps to do, and being taken for rides and stuff... I think I understand my sis Dana when she also desired to keep on the huMare hood after her challenge... we could pull a cart together?

Rubber Mare

I mentioned it already in my previous post, and there we are: a hu-mare at S'n'R!

Mistress Dio has put a nice report on my transformation on their blog, also with some pictures. She suggested that I would blog a little while spending time waiting in the box for someone to let me out to run laps…
And that's exactly what I'm doing right now: waiting in a box in the stable for some human to open the door and let me out, or take my reins or whatever they want, since I am not able to do much more than be a dumb horse.

- oh wait, there is a human! … Bummer, she didn't let me out. -
If you want to know what a huMare looks like, you can look at the pictures on the Maurer's Blog, or you can come visit Stones'n'Rubber, where you can find some Rubber Mares most of the time. What you can't see from the outside however, is how it looks and feels from the inside. Some notecard might tell you about the program and the heavy restrictions it involves, but i's difficult to imagine if you've never experienced it. The HuMare program is described as very strict and harsh, and maybe because of that it was exactly what was attracting me in it.

Let's give a quick overview of my restricted world: what comes to the eye first, is the limited vision. Not alone am I forced to mouselook constantly, I have to peek through eyeholes also, and to top it off there's also a pair of blinders narrowing my sight. The eyeholes are not that bad to be honest, I have been finding my way around with smaller peek holes in the MD gas mask. The combination with the blinkers is a bit… wicked though, as the combined effect of the holes is more than just a smaller view field: seen through the eyeholes, the blinkers are easily misinterpreted by the brain for a wall or something, thus giving the feeling of a less limited vision than you actually have… nice.
Within this restriction, the mouselook is not much of a limitation, as I found out long ago with the MD mask that mouselook actually is the best way to find your way with a vision limited like this.

I'm not sure I even tried, but talking of course is prevented also. IM is totally blocked too, but that's a good thing as it is only distractive. ^^

And hearing? I have no idea what is said around me, although I am not to be considered completely deaf. HuMares have some kind of "pet hearing", meaning they can't understand human chat initially, but they can learn to understand some words eventually. I have written a similar script also.

Further on, I have absolutely no touch. What would I touch with my hoofs? And no names, mares are just mares, humans are just humans, although I am sure I will recognize close family members on sight when they visit. If they don't disguise themself too much, of course.

All this restrictions are putting me in a rather strict isolation. But I think I can say I am used to this, as I have experienced similar restrictions before, even for prolonged times. For short times anyone might support this…

My commitment here is for at least 4 weeks, but to be honest, I think it will be some more. This is because of the hardest part of the whole program: huMares have to run laps, 1000 a week. So that's 4000 laps in total for me. And I won't get released before I make them…

Actually, I don't want to get released too early, I don't care to be a Rubber Mare for more than 4 weeks. Making all those laps on the other side, is something that is not really attracting me. But I chose it, and I want to succeed and finish it! This all of course is my opinion now, maybe I'll squeak otherwise within a few weeks…

Happy New Year!

Some - or maybe most? - of you might know Diomita and Jenny Maurer's Blog, and if not: there might be more recent information about me than here on my own blog, so... Well, as I got collared by Mistress Dio (again), I was asked to write some words about myself to post on the Family's blog, and it was agreed that I could also post those words here. In fact, Mistress Dio would like me to post more frequently again, but the little spare time I can spend on sl related stuff, I prefer to spend in sl mostly, so, I'm afraid this is not going to happen soon.

But hey, here it is, my little (?) text for the Maurer's Blog! It's been written some time ago, so the news is already a little outdated again....

-=-

Hi there,
My name is Danii, and you've probably heard of me, as Miss Dio & Jenny sometimes write about me in this blog. I'm writing now because Miss Dio asked me, although I don't really know what to write.

So I started writing, and then before I finished, some new things happened what makes most of my writing outdated. As there is still valuable thoughts in it - I think - you get this part nevertheless:
--
Maybe I should start by telling something about my relationship to the Maurers? Sometime in the past, me and my Mistress/wife Pike have been subs to Miss Dio. But somehow this didn't work out for Pike, and a loyal sub I am, I had to follow my wife. But both of us stayed friends to the Eurobrats, let's say some unspecified family members. As Pike unfortunately isn't in SL a lot anymore (which makes me feel rather widowy) I hang around with the Family quite often, as they are there most of the time, and I always feel welcome here. Most of the time, I behave as a sub to Miss Dio and a (sub)sis to Jenny, although in the rare(?) moments where I feel Domme, of course I don't.
Ahhhhh, there we touched a subject! Being almost 5 years in SL, I think I can say I have seen and learned things. One of those things is that there are waaaaaay more submissives in SL than there are (good) Mistresses! In all modesty, I heard more than once from different people that I can Domme well enough. That is, I guess, when I'm in the mood for it. And there is the problem: I'm not feeling like dominating all the time, not even most of the time. What makes that I am not a good… Mistress. Subs tend to have problems with a switch Mistress. It often confuses them, and they are left on their own when their Mistress is subbing. Of course there are ways around this, and plenty of exceptions. It's a generalised view I'm drawing here. Maybe my D/s ratio is too low, but it didn't work out with the subs I had long ago due to the Mistress in me being unavailable too often.
Having this strong sub side, helps me being a good Domme though, the rare moments I'm into it, but as a sub, I find myself in profound need of an attentfull, understanding and… very strict Mistress quite too often. Pike, my beloved wife, with all due respect is not, as her sub side is even stronger than mine. And she loves me too much to get herself to be strict enough to me. You know, there's only one thing worse than having someone abusing their power to restrict you, that's them not using that power enough.
Besides the attention, the understanding, the strictness and the availability, there is also needed some matching of tastes… Well, much words to say I'm still (or again?) looking for The Real Mistress (for me)
--
Now what happened making this outdated, you think?
Wellllllll, we somehow specified how I am related to the family: as my Mistress and wife Pike seems to be gone for more than a month now already, I needed something like a foster Mistress & family, making me Maurer's Fosterbrat now. Miss Dio has become Mistress Dio again to me, and she put me in sis Deli's strict hands. Deli is Miss Delilah now to me, although I tend to call her Miss Delicious. Just like before, and they never really stopped doing so, Mistress Dio and most of the family usually calls me "Cutie".
They covered me completely in black latex, including ballet boots with a restricting chain between them, thick mittens really impeding my touch, and a black hood limiting my talking, hearing and vision. I am a dependent being now, a latex doll with only a tiny link to sl reality left. I can't deny I like my challenging restrictions.
I'm not sure I will stay like this forever though, as there might come a time to move on, try other concepts and outfits, or even take on doming once more. But the future is not my concern now, as I am… a dependent slave now.

Okay, time for an update now: shortly before my RL Xmas holiday, I got freed from my latex predicament, and I got a rather expensive new Amethyst collar form Mistress and Jenny. Thank you very much! I am very grateful for it, although there is still some emptiness in my heart, as Pike's wedding collar has been so many years around my neck. It's still in my drawer with precious memories now, and I'm still hoping somewhere to see her back. How this would impact my "ownership", I do not know. And I'm not in sl to worry about my sl future to much.

Okay, on this new years day, I'm a collared girl in no peculiar predicament, let's say I am getting a break after weeks (months?) in a very strict latex restriction. It has been hard at moments, but I don't have the feeling it was too hard for me. It was an intense experience at moments, being among my friends, but not being able to take part in the activity, often not even having a clue about what was going on.

Of course I missed things, like exploring on my own, shopping, reading profiles of people nearby,... things I hope to catch up a little before eventually being immersed in new restrictive adventures again.

I've not even started my well earned (?) break et, and I'm thinking already about what might come next... how typically me?!
I admire - and envy - my sis Dana who has become a Hu-Mare recently, I can't deny what I read about it really arouses me. Although my latest pony adventure at FFF has been ended prematurely, but as they say it themselves: Hu-Mares are something different. Maybe, who knows....?
I also learned Paine Asylum is open again, so some decent RP might also be an option. But I'm not sure I still can find satisfaction in RPing medical staff, after the long time I "worked" as psychologist at HCI. HCI, or a successor of it, seems to be still around also, as another option for RP.
One of the other idea's I have been having sometimes, is the classical "banishment". Although my recent latex adventure had some aspects of it, it's not quite the same. As a matter of fact I have never been a real bane, as I think my very short time to test a prototype bane-hood, doesn't really count. I'm not sure there is still need for bane operators, like I used to be one, but if I ever am to pick that up again, I need a refreshment on banishment first...

Or, are there other - rubberish - adventures I should pursue?

I'm going to enjoy my break first, I think..

xXx
