Challenged

To be honest, I lost track of the time I'm locked in the ISO-suit. Wait, it must be more than 3 years now, and counting. Technically that is, as you saw in my previous post my outfit changed, even though the Suit is still locked on me.

My actual situation is very similar: I'm still sealed in the CC Drone suit, and the Suit even has control over my outfit, but meanwhile my looks have changed again.
Latex remaining a constant craving, I'm once again completely covered in it, complemented with those gorgeous wedge latex boots from NGW, and their new mittens making my hands rather useless (but not as useless as the Venus corset though). Finding a nice attribute to wear on my head, was a bit more of a quest, but finally I fell for this kitty hood, also by NGW.

I've never felt any kitty or neko desires in SL (or elsewhere), but I'm a big fan of my RL cats, and catwoman in her tight fitting catsuit (what's in a name?) has always had a slightly arousing effect on me. So don't exaggerate on pet-play on me, or I might react a little bit... feline?

Of course I can change my outfit only with approval of my suit's key holder, and I wouldn't be me if I would be satisfied without any of these shiny latex garments locked on me and restricting me. And this is where Miss Andi came up with a challenge for me: she would lock me in it, but only if I would go "kitty" the whole way and have some "pet hearing" locked on me as well. And all would remain locked until I learned enough words to be able to ask for release.

For those not understanding what I'm talking about, have a look here: https://marketplace.secondlife.com/p/SI-SubListen-SubSpeak-HUD-v201/7206198

Needless to say I accepted the challenge...

18 months... and counting!

Well... it's not that hard if you don't log in months in a row!

After again several months of not logging in to sl, I finally have logged in a few times again. I got amazed reactions when people realise I am (locked) in my suit for about one and a half year already, which is kinda fun. They should look at my sl age too, ahem *blushes*
In my eyes however, it doesn't feel like such a big achievement, because when you subtract all the time I haven't been online in sl, there wouldn't be much left of those 18 months. And perhaps it's also this rl distance I am able to take from sl nowadays, that allows me to persist in the suit and even still enjoy it.

Even during my long absences though, sl, and more in particular this full body latex suit, has never been completely out of my mind. I don't know what that tells about my... inner self?
Nah, I'm not going to elaborate on this one ^^

So, what brought me back? I don't know really. Some spare time? The need to "feel" my restrictions once more? Curiosity on how sl is evolving?

Probably the die hard fans will prove me wrong, but sl is considered a dying world, and somewhere I read about a "next generation" virtual world being developed (if only I could remember what or where, I could post a link or something..)
Anyway, my own observations tell me that in general the sl world might be shrinking, but a small core of (let's call them) die-hards keep visiting it and some even keep being creative in it, like by building all those beautiful mesh bodies and outfits, or by scripting all those evil restrictions. I'm still afraid the mass of visitors - and the money they are willing to pay - will eventually shrink below a critical point, where LL will decide to pull the plug. I am not following all of this close enough to have any funded idea how far we might be from this point, but if you are, feel free to discuss in the comments. Please don't blame me too much of being pessimistic though, I know that already! ^o^

Some of you know I'm on DeviantArt as well, although mostly as a consumer. I found this pic recently:
This could have been me!
...or not: my hair is white, and I am wearing different cuffs, and a chastity belt.

Thinking of DeviantArt, the drawback of being restricted as I am, i.e. with rather limited visual capacities, is that I can't produce any more deviant art. (as if I would have time for that)

Kisses... erhm, face visor light flashes,

Has it been that long?

OMG, has it been that long since my last post?
I'm sorry I didn't get to this earlier. I even missed the opportunity to celebrate me being in the ISO suit for one full (!) year!

Yes, and meanwhile it's already 14 months or something. But guess what: I'm not finished yet, I'm still loving being completely covered by latex. And also, my set up is still evolving, with some additional scripting now and then. It's mainly the scripting and the addition of new features (or restrictions) that keep me interested.

So a short update on the most recent changes: since yesterday night, I'm not able to speak anymore outside the drone station. It was already the only place where I had access to my inventory, where I could start IM, or where I could take of the suit's hood for short times.
From now on, when exploring or visiting friends, my only communication is blinking green (yes) or red (no), and limited emotes. Indeed, limited emotes: a small but smart trick forces me to think twice before emoting, and efficiently prevents me from (ab)using the emote channel to talk. For those remembering my good old hood scripts, it's been in there as well.
When outside the station, I've been unable to start IM for some time already, and that's still the case. I'm still able to read and answer IM however, so please don't feel held back to IM me: if it were to "ruin" my isolation, it would have been turned of, wouldn't it?

In exchange for being "silenced", I got my battery life doubled, to allow me to explore more, or longer. Did I tell you before any movement drains my battery? Whether it is walking, running, flying, or TP-ing? I can tell you it's pretty scaring when my battery runs dry somewhere abroad, and so it makes exploring with friends pretty stressful and even not really enjoyable anymore.
And since this suit is supposed to increase fun, and not lessen it, this fix is very welcome. Oh, and being silenced also adds to my battery life, as speaking is also a battery draining activity.

I have some more little scripting projects in mind, so in case you wonder, I'm not out of my beloved suit yet.
I'm also not sure how I would manage not being restricted anymore: some time ago I have been suffering some SL hiccups, resulting in me having unrestricted vision for some time, and I felt uncomfortable and disoriented by the things I'm not used to see anymore, like hover texts and bright colours. And peripheral vision of course, instead of this visor in the middle of my screen.

So. when we meet in world next time, please enjoy my silence!
(and if you don't want to, there's still IM ^^ )

Another month...

Yes, another month in my lovely suit passed by. Have I become my latex suit, has the suit become me? I don't know.
However I still feel human inside, not a drone, or robot, or android or doll. I'm getting used to my battery though, and to the bunch of restrictions that come with it.

As I wrote last time, I have been busy writing my own customisation scripts to plug in the already wicked scripts our family is using. The most important one is my "battery saving mode" where I can choose to have access to good environment interaction at the cost of a draining battery, or to be more restricted on vision, hearing, talking, and touch, but with a much longer battery life.
In reality, this ends me up nearly blind and deaf almost all the time when leaving the station, only switching off my "economy mode" to throw a quick glance around or to touch something, e.g. when I'm totally lost.
Even with this choice, my sl is pretty much dominated by the battery script that is locked into my suit. I always need to keep enough battery power left to TP back home to recharge.
However: Using Marine Kelly's treadmill or mousewheel, I can also recharge my battery. Or have someone else charging it. So, places where I can find one of these, might become my favorites to visit and hang out, as I can stay there longer. If you have one of these charging devices at your place, or know some fun hangout places that have them, please let me know. Or send me a LM, as not seeing location is one of my permanent restrictions.

What else did I add?
Oh yes, unless you have access to our station, you'll never see me without the suit's hood on, as there is no way for me to show my face outdoors. Indoors, I can take the hood off though, but only for limited times. I'd post a picture of my new glasses here, but that would break the concept of keeping my human looks private of course. ^^
I have some more ideas I'd like to implement. Indeed, I'm not at the end of my restrictions yet. I have no idea where it will end. Or when. All I know for sure now, is that my goal of being a full year in one single outfit, is coming near. All I need is some "extra" to keep it interesting. And challenging.

As my resrtrictive scripts are taking form, I have more time and desire to go roam a bit, and visit friends & family. And then of course I am thinking of the Eurobrats.
So yesterday, I passed by for another visit (and to see if they still have the charging mousewheel rezzed somewhere) and I accidentely dropped in a photo-session Miss Dio was doing with one of her very bound victims. Quickly I was added to the scene, here's the result.
(c) Diomita Maurer

I'd like to remark this is not how my suit is intended to look. To see it in its full glory, with the material texture, and the color effect I added, you'd need to put your sl viewer in a higher quality mode. I'd post some pics myself, but as my vision is pretty restricted, I can't take good pics myself, even when not in battery saving mode.
But I still like this pic, and Miss Dio's graphic settings resulted in me and the bound victim having very similar looks, which seems like the right artistic decision to me.

Restricted regards,

Battery power

I know, I know, it's been a while again! Not only here, but also sl has lacked my presence for some weeks (months?) again...
But once more I'm back, and even more, I'm writing a new blog entry right now!

So... what's there to tell? Where to start?

Ok, I'm still wearing the tkISO suit, for almost 9 months now. And if you might wonder, I'm still not yet tired of it, and I am dedicated to keep wearing it for the rest of the year, at least. And if I will ever take it off, keep a shower ready and pinch your nose!
But, to keep things interesting, the house where I have landed and where they gently push everyone to tighter and stricter rules and restrictions, has made a huge progress on alternative scripts to put in it. At first I was quite hesitant to leave alone the original tkISO scripts, as they are very well made and offer an intense experience, even though there is, of course, always place for improvements (I have given the maker some wicked ideas of mine, I'm still curious what she will do with it). But now, the alternative scripts are reaching a good level of maturity, and.. they have some features I could not ignore!
One of them is the Battery. Just like almost everyone in the house, I am now being powered by a battery that has a limited capacity and drains by time and by what I do, e.g. walking, TPing, but also talking! OK, there's more battery systems on the market, or even mechanical empowering with a giant key on your back. But this one is very well integrated with the rest of the scripts, and fully configurable. And it's quite fun to be together with people living under (almost) the same restrictions.
Conclusion: I am now sealed in my beloved suit by the non-standard scripts. All the time. And the restrictions are... strict. But the best thing is: I can write extensions to it, and apply them, without even having to be unlocked. Bzzzzzzzz.... can you hear my wicked fantasy working?

If you could excuse me now, I need to go recharge my battery ^^

My isolated life

I'm not sure where I want to go or what I try to reach, but yes: I'm still wearing my iso suit and enjoying it!

There are moments though where I am in doubt, usually when I see someone in another new toy or outfit, like the RF subset. But so far I stick to my outfit, and let's put the intention here to make the year round in it. To start with.
The only excuse for abandoning the suit I'm wearing, is to change into an updated one. Or into a copy  (with alternative scripts)

I told before I am not locked in it all the time, but it is some kind of a self imposed rule not to leave home unlocked (and unrestricted). I have been working on a script to lock me automatically when I leave the sim, but it's not the same thing as locking the suit's original scripts. I'd love to get that working...
So the next best thing is getting (time)locked before I go out, where a safe estimation is to be made on the time to set in the lock.

Next to that, there are some house rules I have been asked to follow, even though there is no speaking of collaring or ownership or whatever. They're just house rules. Wearing cuffs and a chastity belt all the time is one of them. Logging in and out from my pod is another important one, set specially for me. One I love and happily comply to, even though the random timer sometimes keeps me locked until about half an hour after I log in.

-~-

Ok, so what is there to tell about my isolated life?
Well, as I don't have too much time for sl these days, most days I don't get to TP out and visit places anymore, instead I have a little small talk, or sometimes a more technical discussion, with the people in the house. Unlocked, except when in my pod of course. Maybe I should try to take a nice picture of me resting floating in my pod...

But as it was time to venture a bit, I time locked myself earlier this week, to be ready to go out. I thought it would be nice to pay a visit to the long time traditional Friday night party of my precious Eurobrat family. So I did. Of course with limited vision and hearing, and not able to talk or start IM, I got myself an interesting and even slightly arousing experience. I missed some funny quotes for sure, and having to peek through a small slit, I had to cam around to get a view of everyone - still with distorted colours though - but I enjoyed the company. Thanks my friends!
And of course no one started an IM to me, just like the last time. But I was prepared to that, this time. And I longed for these restrictions anyway.

But still... I have been reading on the family blog there have been quite some changes, and it would have felt good to be able to talk about them. One thing in particular touched me: my sis Qt apparently has left sl?!

Oh.... and I'm wondering why I keep blogging here. Is anyone still reading this?

Faceless me

Oh yes, I'm still wearing that damn iso suit! It's been almost 5 months now, and counting..

As time measures are a bit different is sl than they are in rl, how long is 5 months? Does it count for permanent? I'm not sure how long my pony training by Arka has taken, or how long I've been running rounds as a HuMare at SnR. My prison times in sl might also count up to several months.
But I know that with my more than 8 years in sl, I am an old brat, a very old brat!

Anyway, as I'm not planning on giving up on my comfy suit soon, it may be time to update my profile a little bit. I already put in place a new profile pic some time ago:
Web_554682def8a1ec624c000001

The idea behind this was that when my face is not visible in world, it's a bit silly one mouseclick reveals it in my profile. It's for the same reason I'm considering reworking the rest of my profile as well, i.e. the "picks".

My picks as they are now (but be quick if you still want to see them!) tell some important parts of my sl history. As much as I love these memories though, I no longer feel the need to share them with anyone, nor do I still feel the need to.
So they might go, or be replaced anytime soon.

However, as I said I also keep to those beloved memories, I will "backup" them first, and where could I better put this backup than here, on my little blog?

So... I intend my next blog posts to be my (old) profile picks. To be continued....

Isolation kicks in

What would you expect from an iso-suit?

I am not locked in my tkISO suit all the time, as I have been asked by one of its makers to help out with some little things for the next update (I'm not going to tell anything about that here) but it feels wrong to go out like this, so when my volunteering keyholder is not around, it happens I timelock myself before leaving the building. Which does not feel the same, as this means I have a say over my restrictions. Not while locked however, as with a key holder set, there's no access for me once locked.

Last Friday however it wasn't me who started my timelock. And my restrictions were quite... restricting? I couldn't start IM, and my "chat" communication was limited to blinking my faceless faceplate in red, green, yellow or white. No emotes either. Nada.
Set up like this, I decided to join my family's Friday Night Party, trusting they would overcome my predicament and at least someone would open an IM to me. You hear me coming: no one...

Well... no one except maybe those who couldn't start IM themselves.
Honestly, I don't know what to think of it. Is not being able to produce any text in the public window making me invisible? Or... I dunno.

Yes, I know I mainly got me in this situation myself. But somehow... ahhh, things don't always turn out the way you think.

So.. I left the party without saying goodbye. I couldn't.
It was quite early, but no worries, that was because I had to get up early the next day.

Think Kink

I've been wearing this tkISO suit since I got it, most of the time locked in it, and very impacted by it. I guess it's what I wished for, what I came back to SL for..
The only times I got released temporarily, were to change to an updated version. After which - as could be expected - my restrictions were slightly adapted, mostly in the stricter direction. ^^

Yesterday's update brought the possibility to change the shininess of the suit when the "seamed" look was chosen. The values chosen however weren't looking as good as they could: the suit was left either too dull, or way too shiny.

Maybe contact the maker to notify them?

And then there's the emote hint I wanted to share with them, as I wrote in a previous post. Reason enough for my keyholder to (temporarily) allow me to start IM again (yes, that was why I was so quiet recently, I was unable to start IM) so I could contact Ilana.

So I sent her an IM with a short code snippet... and next we got involved in a very interesting (and kinky) conversation for the rest of the evening. She definitely got a whole notebook full of wicked ideas for upcoming versions of the suit, and has added some of mine now. A lot of my own wicked ideas though - remember my evil hood scripts? - had already come to her mind as well. It felt very... good to meet a mind as wicked as mine! We certainly will talk again, and maybe more.

I'm especially looking forward to her....
Hah! I can't reveal that of course! But I'm definitely ready to be locked in it ^^

Restricted

No news in the title, is there?
It kinda tells you I'm still restricted, wooha!
As I should be, I hear you thinking. Right?

Indeed, I'm still locked in that marvelous tkISO suit, in an updated version, to be precise. Although I have no clue what has been updated, apparently just some bugs fixed. But by changing suits, it was also decided some settings were to be changed...

So I'm even more restricted as before now. Yay!!?

The slit I have to peek through has become even smaller, and my minimap and locations have gone, together with my inventory (why would I need that, anyway?) So exploring has become an even bigger challenge now. Remind you I was already cam restricted and seeing the world as if it were plunged in thick yellow lemonade.
I also have become more isolated, as my communication has been limited even more. I can't emote anymore, nor start IM. Together with the yes/no/maybe/dunno blinking thing, this is really severe, especially for a big mouthed brat as me. Oh yes, I can still answer if someone IMs me, but the hard part is how to convince them to start IM by only blinking?!

I haven't had too much time to go exploring like this so far (and I'm away from my good graphics computer for a couple of days atm) but meeting both friends and strangers can be fun if they too are willing to communicate. And that's the difference with a bane: real banes are not allowed any communication, and even have to avoid being around people. I don't think I want to go there...

yet?

Latex return

Hah! I return again. This time a little bit more persistent, it seems.

I also got completely sealed into a new outfit, to make sure I don't catch any (computer?) virus.
For me, it is brand new, but others may recognise it as Think Kink's tkISO suit. It really looks marvelous, but you need to put the SL viewer in one of the highest graphics modes to be able to enjoy the realistic seamed texture. Luckily I finally got my computer hardware issues sorted out by now ^^

The suit has also some very restrictive features, and my name wouldn't be Danii if they hadn't been enabled. Well, not all of them, to be honest, as exploring would be hard if TP was disabled of course. ^^
Hearing is limited (but that's default) and speech... what speech? No speech for me, just "blinking"! When I'm not wearing the transparent mask, like on the picture, I can make the whole face panel (the black thing covering my face) blink in a couple of colors. For those encountering my inworld and not confident with the color codes: green is positive (yes), red is negative (no), white is undecided (maybe) and yellow means "I don't know". I discovered there's also a way to make me blink blue: by trying to speak. But next to the blue blink, I will get very painfull electro shocks whenever i do that.
It's amazing how easily I adapted to have my communication limited to those four possibilities, but then of course I have some experience being a pony...
And there's emotes, however they can be blocked as well. Maybe I should tell them about the way I solved abusing emotes in my hood scripts long ago? So long it's up to me not to abuse emotes to escape the talking restriction.
Oh yes, I usually blink green twice to say hi or bye...

And then there's the visual stuff of course! I'm not doing a review here, but there's several options to give a pretty distorted view at the SL world, using both a hud and windlight settings. And the cam restriction of course. This should be the first restriction applied to any victim anywhere!
Those restrictions make exploring a little harder, and i may never see the places I visit as the makers intend them to be seen, but to find your way through a labirynth while peeking through a small slit at an extremely foggy or froggy green world, is so much fun and far more intense than camming around!

So, I'm sealed in this suit for now. For how long, I don't know, as I gave away the keys to someone I trust won't go soft in my restrictions, but also won't push me to cheat out.

For those on an older computer with lesser graphics: here's another pic:

See you!
